NotebookBloom for NotebookLM (Gemini Notebook) — Anki, Zotero & Search

NotebookLM tools: export citations to Zotero/BibTeX, flashcards to Anki, and search locally indexed notebooks.

NotebookBloom adds research and study tools to Google NotebookLM (also known as Gemini Notebook). Create formatted citations, export flashcards with source information, import source links, and organize saved material. Search indexed notebook chats and Studio content together with source records, citations, cards and prompts saved locally in NotebookBloom. After installation, open a NotebookLM notebook and launch NotebookBloom from the extension toolbar. Citations and references Create references in APA, MLA, Chicago or BibTeX. Export a BibTeX (.bib) file for use with reference managers such as Zotero. Flashcard export Load flashcards from the current notebook, edit them, then export an APKG deck or TSV file, or send them through AnkiConnect. Each card can include its source. Local search A notebook becomes searchable after Search indexes the chat and Studio content currently loaded on its page. Search that indexed content together with source records, citations, cards and prompts saved locally in NotebookBloom. Unopened notebooks and source text that has not been loaded are not included. Import and organization • Import multiple source links, including supported video playlists, channels and RSS feeds. • Organize saved material with folders, tags and reusable prompts. • Save and edit NotebookLM output, then copy it or export it as Markdown, PDF or HTML. • Find duplicate saved sources by title, URL or content. • Save conversations from supported AI chat services as sources. • Use optional Google Drive sync to move NotebookBloom data between devices. Privacy Notebook content and saved data are processed locally in your browser. If you enable Google Drive sync, NotebookBloom writes its sync data to a "NotebookBloom" folder in your own Google Drive. NotebookBloom does not store notebook content on its servers.
