Answers cookie banners for you — always rejecting tracking — and keeps a private, on-device log. Nothing leaves your device.

Cookie banners interrupt almost every website, and the "reject" button is usually buried behind extra clicks. So people click "Accept" out of fatigue and agree to tracking they never wanted. Not This Cookie answers those banners for you. By default it says no to all non-essential tracking, takes the reject path so you don't have to, and records every attempt in a private log on your own device. Once a month you can see the whole picture: how many sites asked to track you, and that Not This Cookie turned them down. WHAT IT DOES • Answers banners automatically. It recognises the banner software behind most of the web (OneTrust, Cookiebot, Google Funding Choices, Quantcast, Didomi, Sourcepoint, Usercentrics, TrustArc and more), plus a general fallback for custom banners, and clicks the reject option for you. • Only ever says no. Not This Cookie is built so it is structurally incapable of clicking "Accept". Before every click it re-checks the button's wording against a list of accept-style phrases in several languages and aborts if it matches. If a banner offers no way to reject, it leaves it alone and notes that in the log. • Keeps a private log. Every attempt is recorded on your device — the site, what it asked for, and what Not This Cookie did — with a monthly tally. • Respects your choices. Pause it on any site with one click, switch to "just notify me", or turn it off. Paused sites are never touched. YOUR PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT • No account. No servers. No analytics. No telemetry. • Nothing ever leaves your device. Not This Cookie makes zero network requests — you can confirm this yourself in your browser's network inspector. • Everything is stored locally. Export your log as a spreadsheet, or wipe all of it, whenever you like. HONEST ABOUT WHAT THIS IS Not This Cookie automates the choice you would make yourself, on your own browser. It answers banners and records who asked — it does not block trackers at the network level, and it is not ad-blocking. Some sites only show a "pay or consent" banner with no free reject option; on those, it leaves the banner untouched rather than agree on your behalf. Cookie banners mainly appear to visitors in Europe and the United Kingdom, so that is where Not This Cookie is most useful today.
