NoSponsor finds the sponsored content on the pages you visit and lets you decide what to do with it. Three modes, your choice: • Highlight: an amber border and a "SPONSOR" badge on paid results, so you spot them at a glance. • Collapse: each sponsored item turns into a thin bar that opens again with a click. • Hide: sponsored items disappear from the page. Where it works • Dedicated detectors for Google, Amazon, eBay and Subito.it, even where the "Sponsored" labels are hidden or obfuscated. • On YouTube, video ads play at 16x speed: a 30-second ad is over in about 2. Meanwhile the picture is blacked out, the sound muted and a label shows how long is really left. When the ad is over, the video goes on as usual, at your speed and with your sound. • On every other site, a generic detector looks for "Sponsored", "Promoted", "Advertisement" and similar labels. It can be turned off. • In English and Italian, following the browser language. In your control • Turn it off for a single site from the popup. • The icon shows how many sponsored items it found on the page. • It never removes anything from the page: it only adds a class and some CSS, so sites keep working and switching mode is instant. Privacy NoSponsor collects no data, has no server, uses no analytics or tracking and makes no network requests. Pages are analysed only inside your browser. The only things it saves are your settings (mode, generic detection, sites where you turned it off).
