Checks FI, DK, SE, NO, EE, LV and LT VAT IDs locally, with no account, server or external API.
Nordic VAT Validator helps accounting, logistics and export/import teams catch formal VAT ID errors before they become invoice, supplier onboarding or master-data problems. Paste invoice text, a supplier column, selected webpage text or visible page text. The extension checks local structure and checksum rules for Nordic and Baltic VAT identifiers directly in Chrome. Supported identifiers: - Finland FI / ALV nro - Denmark DK / CVR - Sweden SE / Momsregistreringsnummer - Norway NO / Organisasjonsnummer MVA - Estonia EE / KMKR - Latvia LV / PVN - Lithuania LT / PVM Features: - local checksum validation for FI, DK, SE, NO, EE, LV and LT - one-click selected text check - clipboard check after explicit user action - visible page scan after explicit user action - batch review screen for ERP or invoice columns - temporary page highlighting - user-activated field mode for web forms - CSV, JSON and plain text export - local options for prefix strictness, bare number detection, Baltic checks and Norwegian MVA suffix handling Privacy and security: - no account - no server - no VIES call - no external API - no analytics - no remote code - no broad host permissions - no stored VAT IDs by default Important: this extension is a formal local checker. It does not confirm that a VAT ID exists, is active, belongs to a company, appears in VIES, or is accepted by any tax authority.
