Overview
Nora while you browse: ask about any page for clear, sourced answers, write anywhere and get things done on the web.
Nora is with you while you browse. Nora sits in Chrome's side panel beside whatever you're reading, with the same profile you have on nora.ws, and helps you understand, write and get things done on the web. Understand any page • Ask about the page you're on and get a clear answer that shows where it came from. Nora reads the page only when you ask. • Read charts, maps and images too: on a page that is mostly drawn, such as a price chart, Nora looks at what's on screen and explains it. • Make sense of official guidance: what it means for you, what you need to do and by when. • Get the key points from articles and reports, and the evidence behind their claims. • Find out what a company or organisation does from its own site. • Compare up to four pages you have open, such as courses, products or jobs. • Nora suggests questions that suit the page you're on. Write with Nora • Right-click any text box and choose Write with Nora. Nora drafts the text, you decide whether to insert it, and you can undo it. Let Nora act • Give Nora a task on a site you allow, such as finding contact details or prices, switching a chart's timeframe or searching a site. It clicks, types, uses menus and reads as it goes, shows each step, and stops before anything that can't be undone. Help with job applications • On job pages, save the role to Nora Career and ask how well you fit. • On supported job application forms, Fill with Nora fills the form from your Nora profile and CV, then shows a checklist of what's left for you. You review the form and submit it yourself. Your chats • What you ask in Chrome is saved to your Nora account in its own chat list, separate from your nora.ws chats. Rename or delete any chat from the list. What Nora won't do • Submit, send, pay, buy, sell or apply for you. • Like, follow, connect, comment, post or message for you on social sites. • Fill in passwords, card details or one-time codes. • Send Nora a page you haven't asked about. The one exception is supported job application sites, where it checks the page's address against the jobs you've saved. Your privacy Before you start, Nora shows what it reads and where it goes, and asks you to agree. What Nora reads goes to your Nora account to answer you, including a screenshot of the visible part of a page when it is mostly a chart, map or image or you ask about what it shows; screenshots are not kept. You can withdraw consent in Settings at any time, which disconnects Nora and removes its site access. Privacy policy: https://nora.ws/privacy#nora-for-chrome What you need A Nora account. Nora Career features and page actions need Nora Plus.
