NoPause Playback - Web Player Anti-Pause is a Chrome browser extension specifically designed to prevent videos and audio on webpages from automatically pausing in various situations. It is ideal for users who need continuous media playback in the background while multitasking during video playback. Main Features Anti-pause protection for normal playback scenarios: Automatically intercepts common pause trigger mechanisms on websites, including: 1. Switching tabs 2. Minimizing the browser window 3. Mouse leaving the page or screen 4. Pausing in Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode 5. Window losing focus 6. Multi-monitor (secondary screen) 7. Websites detecting pauses via JavaScript (such as blur, visibilitychange events) 8. Pauses triggered by timers or anti-idle detection And some other trigger mechanisms... Website Management: Users can manually add, remove, or manage specific websites/domains. The anti-pause function only applies to websites on the list. Usage Statistics: Records the number of times the extension is triggered for each website. Autoplay When enabled, NoPause automatically attempts to play the main video when you open or refresh an added website. Availability currently varies due to browser autoplay policies and website structure. Compatibility will continue to improve. 2. Page Display Enhancements Infinite Scroll preloads and continuously appends the next page as you browse. On supported websites, you can also merge 2–5 consecutive pages into a single view. This feature currently works on selected websites, with support continuing to expand. 3. Auto Clear Browsing History Available to Premium users only. When enabled, it permanently clears existing browsing history for every added website and its subdomains, then continues clearing new visits. It is disabled by default and requires your permission. Deleted history cannot be restored. Note: Autoplay and Page Display Enhancements share the same 20 free uses per website as Pause Prevention. Auto Clear Browsing History is available to Premium users only. Usage Instructions 1. After installation, click the extension icon in the browser toolbar to open the management interface. 2. Enter the target website's URL or domain in the input field. (When you open a webpage in a tab, the webpage's URL will be automatically recognized and entered into the extension's input field; click "Add" to include it.) 3. Click the "Add" button to add it to the list. 4. Thereafter, when visiting the website, the extension will automatically take effect, and media content will not pause due to the above situations. Free Version Usage Limitations 1. Each website has a limited usage count of 20 times. When approaching the limit (at 15-19 times and above), a yellow warning will be displayed. Once the usage count for an individual website reaches the upper limit, the extension will stop functioning. 2. To remove the restrictions, subscribe to the Premium version to use the extension's features without limits. 3. If you have previously supported the developer through donations, you can contact them with proof of the order, and after verification, a permanent free account can be activated.
