Overview
Save the page you're on to Noodle Assistant on your phone with a QR code, and open Noodle Web Link.
Save the page you're reading to Noodle Assistant on your Android phone, without typing or sharing a link. Click the Noodle icon (or press Alt+Shift+N) and the popup shows a QR code for the page. Scan it with your phone's camera: Noodle Assistant opens on its capture page and asks "Save this link?". The app then reads the article, translates it to English if needed and makes it searchable by meaning, all on your phone. You can also right-click a page or a link and choose "Save this page to Noodle" or "Save this link to Noodle". • Tracking parameters (utm_ and the like) are removed from the address before it goes into the code. • Without the app installed, the code opens a page on noodleassistant.com instead, with a link to the page itself. • "Open Noodle Web Link" opens link.noodleassistant.com, where you can use your phone's library in this browser. Private by design: the extension makes no network requests and collects nothing. The code is drawn inside the popup, and the page address sits after the # in the code's link, which browsers never send to a server. It asks for no access to the sites you visit; it reads the current tab only when you click it. Noodle Assistant is a local-first second brain for Android: save YouTube and Instagram links, web articles, photos, PDFs and voice notes, and search them by meaning, with no AI cloud calls.
