Overview

Monitor classroom noise levels with visual and audio feedback.

This extension is developed for teachers, to help them keep the noise in the classroom at a decent level, using gamification. ==How does it work== For each minute the noise level is under the set threshold, you receive a smiley. For each minute the noise level is higher than the threshold, you receive a grumpy. Total number of points is total smileys - total grumpies. First, you have to set the desired threshold (from 0 to 120dB) in SETTINGS. Then, you can specify if you want also a background noise (white noise, brown noise, waves) or not. When the class starts, press START. For each quite minute, the class receives a smiley. For each minute when the noise is higher than the threshold, the class receives a grumpy. This way, the kids are motivated to keep the noise level down. I hope this helps :) No external code. No spyware. This extension is developed by Kidibot Educational Platform.
