NoIndex Checker
Overview
Detects noindex/nofollow meta tags and X-Robots-Tag headers, displaying an overlay indicator on the page.
NoIndex Checker detects noindex and nofollow directives on any web page and shows a small indicator in the corner of the screen. ■ What it checks • <meta name="robots"> tag • <meta name="googlebot"> tag • <meta name="bingbot"> tag • <meta name="googlebot-news"> tag • X-Robots-Tag HTTP response header ■ How it works When noindex or nofollow is detected, a dot badge appears at the bottom-right corner of the page. Hover over it to see the details — which tag or header triggered the detection and its raw value. If nothing is detected, the badge stays hidden and won't get in your way. ■ Built for real-world use • Works on SPAs — re-checks on navigation (popstate / hashchange) • Watches for dynamically injected meta tags via MutationObserver • Lightweight with zero external dependencies • No data collection, no analytics, no network requests Perfect for SEO professionals, web developers, and anyone who needs to quickly verify a page's indexing status.
