NoHiss removes hiss and background noise from the audio of any browser tab, in real time: livestreams, videos, recorded classes and podcasts. HOW IT WORKS - Turn it on in the tab you're listening to. In the first 30 seconds it learns the noise that is always there and removes only that, so voice and music pass through. - Scan tab: lists every constant sound it found (hiss, mains hum with its harmonics, high-pitched whines, steady tones, background noise) with frequency and level. Check what you want removed and it's gone right away. - Two filters: Hiss, for constant noise, and Voice (AI), powered by RNNoise, for noisy rooms. - Strength slider and a "hold to hear the original" button to compare. - Interface in English and Portuguese. PRIVACY Everything runs on your computer. NoHiss sends no audio anywhere, has no account and no analytics, and collects no data. Your settings and learned noise profile are stored only in your browser.
