NoHaram - Block Haram and NSFW images

Block images of women and/or men and NSFW images, in real time, entirely on your device.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. NoHaram is made for Muslims who want to lower their gaze online. It blurs pictures of women, men or both, your choice, and blocks nude and other inappropriate (NSFW) images as you browse. It all happens on your own device: your pictures and your browsing never leave your computer. WHAT IT DOES • Choose who to blur: women, men or both, on every website. • Blocks NSFW images: nude and explicit pictures are blurred automatically, whoever is in them. On by default. • No surprises: pictures stay blurred while they load and are checked, then only the ones that match your choice stay blurred. • Works across the web: news sites, search results, social media, shopping sites and more, including small thumbnails. • You stay in control: three sensitivity levels (Relaxed, Balanced, Strict), an on/off switch for each website, and a right-click "Show this image" or "Blur this image" to fix a single mistake. • Available in English and Arabic. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Every picture is checked on your own device. No accounts, no tracking, no ads. • Your pictures, the sites you visit and your browsing history are never sent anywhere. GOOD TO KNOW • No filter is perfect. It may sometimes miss a picture or blur one by mistake. Change the sensitivity, or right-click a picture to fix it. • Videos are not filtered. • Right after you open your browser, the first page can take a few seconds to get ready. Pictures stay blurred until then. FREE AND OPEN SOURCE NoHaram is free, has no ads, and its code is open for anyone to check.
