NoDup
Overview
Reuse an existing tab when you open the same link from a webpage or another app.
Reuse an existing tab when you open the same link from a webpage or another app. Already have that link open? NoDup brings you back to the existing tab when a matching link opens from a webpage in a new foreground tab or appears to open from another app. Your page stays in place, with fewer duplicate tabs to manage. • Reuse a tab with the exact same URL. • Optionally move the reused tab to the new tab's window and position. Pinned tabs stay where they are. • Allow the next duplicate for 60 seconds, or exclude a website. • Pause automatic reuse whenever you want. • Choose English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, or German. NoDup processes tab URLs and navigation events locally in Chrome. No page contents, analytics, or browsing data are sent to a server. No account is required. Chrome does not reliably identify which app opened a link, so source detection is approximate. Webpage-link reuse is on by default and can be turned off in Settings. Navigation within an existing tab, address-bar navigation, bookmarks and reloads stay unchanged. Some links may be missed or reused by mistake, and a new page may start loading before NoDup acts. Reusing a tab discarded by Chrome can require it to load again. Incognito is not supported. Published by Yel. Support: yelbytedance@gmail.com
