Read X with more context. Nobiggie SideLens lets you choose a post, open a right-side drawer and investigate its checkable claims with your own Grok connection. CHECK ONLY WHAT YOU CHOOSE Click the compact SideLens button beside a post to start an analysis. Scrolling does not automatically analyze posts. Findings can include corrections, evidence gaps and clickable sources; AI output is not a guarantee of accuracy. KEEP THE DISCUSSION GOING Ask follow-up questions without leaving X. SideLens carries the original post, the initial analysis and up to three recent question-and-answer exchanges. Three generated question suggestions help you explore useful next steps. DRAFT A THOUGHTFUL REPLY Choose a tone, direction and an approximate 50, 100, 300, 500 or 1000-character target. Reply drafts use the post, analysis and recent discussion. Edit the text, check its actual character count and copy it. SideLens never publishes a reply for you. DESIGNED FOR READING A compact on-demand button, readable typography and support for headings, lists, quotations and comparison tables. The drawer follows X's light, dim and black appearance. Click outside or press Escape to close it. REUSE RESULTS Completed analyses and initial question suggestions use a bounded local cache for up to 24 hours. Refreshing X can reuse cached results; Analyze again explicitly bypasses the analysis cache. Optional history contains only posts you opened for analysis. Follow-up conversations and reply drafts remain in page memory and are not restored after reload. BRING YOUR OWN CONNECTION Use a supported Grok subscription login, an xAI API key, or an optional locally running Grok Build service. A compatible account and available quota or credits are required. Provider availability, subscription eligibility, charges and usage limits depend on your account. Analyses, follow-ups, generated question suggestions and reply drafts can consume additional provider usage. The extension does not include free or unlimited AI service. DATA AND CONTROL Relevant selected-post content, images, drafts and conversation context are sent to the configured xAI or local Build connection to provide the features you request. SideLens has no additional analysis relay, advertising or analytics endpoint. It does not read your X password or authentication cookies. Cache and selected-post history are local, unencrypted and independently clearable. Stored credentials use local encryption; provider data retention policies still apply.
