NOAA Weather is a weather query tool developed based on the official API of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Simply enter a 5-digit US zip code to quickly get the current weather and 7-day forecast for that area. Query results include: 🌡️ Current Weather — Temperature, weather conditions, wind information 📅 7-Day Forecast — Daily high/low temperatures, weather condition icons Data comes directly from the official NOAA National Weather Service (NWS) API, ensuring accuracy and reliability. An extended built-in caching mechanism allows for quick results even when querying the same zip code repeatedly within 30 minutes, saving data and time. The extension is completely free, developed based on Manifest V3, with streamlined permissions; it only requests local storage permissions for caching weather data and does not collect any user data.
