NOAA Snow Depth Legend for CalTopo

Displays an interactive NOAA Snow Depth and SWE color legend on CalTopo maps right alongside the Slope Angle legend.

View the official NOAA NOHRSC Snow Depth and Snow Water Equivalent color legend directly on your CalTopo and SARTopo backcountry trip planning maps, right alongside the native Slope Angle shading bar. FEATURES • Bottom Bar or Vertical Card Layout — Display the snow depth scale as a compact horizontal bar above the Slope Angle legend at the bottom of the map, or switch to a vertical legend card. • Automatic Layer Detection — Automatically shows the legend when your Snow Depth custom layer is turned on and hides it when turned off. • One-Click Layer Setup — Add the NOAA NOHRSC Snow Depth custom layer directly into your open CalTopo map with a single click from the popup menu. • Multiple Unit Scales — Click the unit badge on the legend to cycle between inches, feet and inches, and centimeters. • Supports Both NOAA Snow Layers — Switch between Snow Depth and Snow Water Equivalent. • Draggable & Collapsible — Drag the legend anywhere on your map, double-click to snap it back to the bottom bar, or minimize it into a compact pill.
