No Teams Tab
Overview
Open Microsoft Teams links in the desktop app without creating a browser tab.
Stop sacrificing a browser tab every time you open a Microsoft Teams link. No Teams Tab intercepts an ordinary click on a supported Teams link and hands it directly to the Microsoft Teams desktop app. The page you were using stays exactly where it was, and no launcher tab is created. What it does: • Opens work, school, cloud.microsoft, and personal Teams links in the desktop app • Prevents the disposable Teams launcher tab • Preserves Cmd/Ctrl/Shift/Alt-click and middle-click browser behaviour • Leaves Teams on the web untouched • Runs locally with no telemetry, storage, account access, or network requests The browser may show its normal external-protocol confirmation the first time. Microsoft Teams must be installed. No Teams Tab is open source: https://github.com/jakob101/no-teams-tab
