Overview
Stop Chrome from recording your browsing history.
This extension stops Chrome from recording your browsing history in 'standard' mode. You no longer need to be incognito. This is a feature in Firefox that many people feel is missing in Chrome. Google will no doubt add this functionality at some stage. Until they do, you can use the No History extension! One good feature is the ability to 'toggle' the extension on and off. It's very simple and only took me a couple of hours to put together at a friends request. ---- For those saying this extension isn't working watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bfeyE4ZseU and then file a bug telling me how it's working differently for you. I can't fix any bug I can't replicate. ---- June 2013 I totally forgot about this extension until Google emailed me saying I need to update the manifest. It's amazing that people are actually using it - you're awesome!! This really was an extension I made in literally an hour the week before Christmas a few years ago. I'll read through your reviews and try and implement the white/black list you've asked for shortly. Thanks again! ----- Change log: Version 1.0.2 - Updated manifest to Version 2. Version 1.0.1 - Fixed state reset bug.

It has problem with Google Calendar. When the extension is on, while using Google Calendar after doing some actions it throws back to website before. It is just like pressing backwards button. It can be due to the fact that Calendar uses history to navigate through it. Can you please fix that? Or just add option which websites can be excluded from using this extension. Besides that issue, everything is great.

So it seems to remove like 80% of history but the rest seems to get through so it's not very useful
