Take back your attention on YouTube and Instagram. No Brainrot removes the parts of YouTube and Instagram built to keep you scrolling: Shorts, Reels, recommendations and the endless home feed. Pick the channels and topics you care about and filter out the rest, so you get the video you came for, not the next hour of scrolling. YOUTUBE • Hide the home feed. YouTube opens to a quiet page, and search still works. • Hide Shorts shelves, tabs and links. Any Shorts link opens in the regular player. • Hide Explore and Trending. • Hide the recommended videos next to the player and the video wall at the end. • Hide comments, if you like. • Hide videos about topics you pick, such as drama, reactions or gaming. Or show only videos about the topics you care about. • Block channels and words in titles, or show only videos from the channels you allow. INSTAGRAM (BETA) • Open the Following feed: people you follow, newest first. • Hide Reels, the Explore grid and suggested accounts. Search, messages and reels someone sends you still work. Instagram support is still in progress: hashtag pages are not filtered yet, and only the desktop layout in English has been checked. SIMPLE Every setting is a switch, and changes apply to open tabs right away. Everything is on by default except hiding comments. PRIVATE No account, no tracking and no analytics.
