fandom is pretty much unusable without this extension. I'm unfamiliar with GitHub so I couldn't find the feature request place so ill do it here: Comments can provide a lot of useful information on some wikis, but not on others. Could a toggle be added for hiding comments?

Hi - this extension doesn't claim to block ads. It just removes bloat elements. Ad-blocking is complicated and is a constant cat-and-mouse game with advertisers that I'm not interested in doing. I'd recommend uBlock Origin for this purpose.
