No AI Overviews for Google Search
Overview
Removes Google AI Overviews via a web-only redirect or DOM removal, revealing the normal search results underneath.
No AI Overviews removes Google's AI-generated summary boxes from your search results, so you see the normal, source-linked results Google would otherwise show underneath. WHY INSTALL IT Google's AI Overview sits at the top of many searches, pushing the actual results — articles, forums, videos — further down the page. This extension removes it, using either of two methods you can toggle independently: METHOD 1 — Force web-only results Adds Google's own "udm=14" URL parameter, which tells Google to skip generating an AI Overview in the first place and show the plain web-results view instead. This is the stronger method, since nothing is generated to begin with. METHOD 2 — Remove the overview element If you'd rather stay on the normal results page, this hides the AI Overview box directly — including the version that sometimes appears inside "People also ask" dropdowns — and reveals the featured snippet, People Also Ask, and organic results Google already rendered underneath it. Where possible, it replaces the removed summary with a plain list of the sources it had cited, so you don't lose that context. OPTIONAL: Fetch exact page titles - For cited sources that don't (in conjunction with Method 2)
