No AI GitHub
Overview
Hides GitHub's AI features. Unofficial, not affiliated with GitHub. Local only.
No AI GitHub removes Copilot from the GitHub web UI — so your dashboard is your repos and activity again, not an AI chat box you didn't ask for. GitHub has turned the home page into a Copilot "Ask anything" panel and pinned a Copilot button in the header. This extension hides all of it, leaving the rest of GitHub exactly as it was. WHAT IT HIDES • The Copilot "Ask anything" chat panel on the dashboard • The Copilot button and Copilot link in the top navigation WHAT IT LEAVES ALONE • Your repositories, code, issues, pull requests and actions • Search, your feed, and everything else you actually use • Repos that merely have "copilot" in their name (hooks are scoped, never name-matched) HOW IT WORKS • A simple on/off toggle in the toolbar — flip it off and Copilot comes right back • Works locally: no accounts, no sign-in, no tracking, nothing leaves your browser • The only permission is "storage", used solely to remember your on/off choice Unofficial. Not affiliated with GitHub or Microsoft.
