Overview
Find pages on the current domain that contain selected text.
Find other pages on the same website that contain a selected phrase. Domain Text Finder makes it easy to check whether text from the page you’re reading appears elsewhere on that website. Select a phrase, right-click, and choose “Find other pages with this text on the domain.” The extension opens a Google search in a new tab, using the exact phrase and the current page’s hostname. Example: You’re reading an article on `news.example.com` and select: “next-generation radar system” Right-click the selection and choose “Find other pages with this text on the domain.” Domain Text Finder opens a Google search for: `site:news.example.com "next-generation radar system"` You can then review the matching pages in Google’s results. The extension searches Google’s index, it does not crawl the website directly. Pages that Google has not indexed, or that are unavailable to search, may not appear. The selected phrase is sent to Google as the search query. Domain Text Finder does not collect or store the selected text or page content. How to use: 1. Select text on a webpage. 2. Right-click the selection. 3. Choose “Find other pages with this text on the domain.” 4. Review the results in the new Google Search tab.
