ScrCast records your screen, camera, and voice in Chrome, then gives you one private link. Click the ScrCast icon on the page you already have open. Choose Entire screen, Entire screen + camera, or Camera, then press Record. Chrome asks which screen to share. The first time you use the camera or microphone, Chrome asks for permission. A small bar stays on the page so you can pause or stop. When you stop, the file is saved on this computer. If you are signed in, it uploads to scrcast.com and the private link opens. Free includes entire screen, entire screen with camera, and camera only. A free recording stops at 5 minutes. You can keep 25 videos. Free recordings are 1080p at 30 frames per second, with a 3 second countdown. No card is required. Pro is $12 a month. It adds a current tab, a window, or an application, separate camera, microphone, and page audio, 720p, 1080p, or native picture, 30 or 60 frames per second, a countdown you can turn off, and cursor, click highlight, spotlight, and notes. Pro has no per-video time limit, 100 GB of storage, and no 25-video cap. New accounts get 14 days of Pro after the email is confirmed. No card. When those 14 days end, the account stays on Free, and links you already shared keep playing. Each video has one private address. It is not listed in a public library. Anyone with the address can watch it. Delete the video from your dashboard and the file and the address are removed. Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+R to start, Ctrl+Shift+P to pause, Ctrl+Shift+M to mute the microphone, and Ctrl+Shift+S to stop. On a Mac those use the Command key.
