Loopwise turns YouTube and Instagram videos into practice sessions: loop the full video or choose an A–B segment and learn at your own pace. Its controls fit into the player and adapt to both landscape videos and vertical reels. • Set A and B using shortcuts, your mouse or exact time fields. • Adjust either endpoint or move the whole segment while keeping its length. • Change playback speed from 0.1× to 2×. • Add 0–10 seconds of rest between repetitions to practise. • Follow the live playback clock and a precise guide under your cursor. • Customize keyboard shortcuts from the extension. • Return to your loops from a locally saved history. • On YouTube: normal player, theater mode, fullscreen and miniplayer. • On Instagram: reels, feed videos, carousels and posts in dialogs. • On Instagram: preloaded thumbnail previews along the timeline, even while the loop tool is closed. • Keeps your pause and sound choice when you return to Instagram; playing another video pauses and mutes the others on that page. • Choose English, Spanish or Portuguese, or follow your browser language. To practise a segment, set A with Shift+Space and B with Shift+F, then press Enter to loop. Escape stops repetition while leaving the tool open. Space pauses or resumes the video. Your settings stay in your browser Loopwise requires no separate account and includes no ads or analytics. Loops and preferences are stored in this Chrome profile. Compatible audio is processed in local memory. History thumbnails come from YouTube, Instagram posters or a locally saved frame when the browser permits it. For timeline previews, Instagram preloads a lower-resolution stream from its CDN and creates a temporary frame cache in memory. Read the privacy policy for details about data and connections. Compatibility Supports fixed-duration YouTube videos and Instagram reels/post videos in desktop Chrome. YouTube Shorts, Stories, private messages and variable-duration live streams are not supported.
