Hmmly helps you understand English while reading on the web. Select an English word, phrase, sentence, or paragraph and click Translate to see its Vietnamese translation without leaving the page. Word feature • Word types and short Vietnamese meanings for supported English words. • American English IPA pronunciation when available. • Click-to-play pronunciation using Chrome text-to-speech for word results with a single meaning. IPA availability varies by word. Audio is hidden when a result contains multiple word types or meanings. Voice availability and pronunciation depend on your browser and device. Translation happens only after you click Translate. Selected text is sent to the Hmmly backend and Azure Translator to provide the result. Hmmly does not send the webpage URL, surrounding text, or full page content. Pronunciation playback starts only when you click the audio button and uses Chrome's configured speech engine. No account required.
