I have been trying to find a chrome OS app that will play the music stored on my home dlna server, and at last I have found one. Needs a few minutes to set itself up on the first run, after that it found the server on my home LAN straight away and plays the music well. Great stuff.

Tried a few DLNA clients and this was the only one that worked for me. Still getting familiar with it, but it looks like there is not a full screen option in the player.

So far, the only app I've found for my Chromebook that can browse my local DLNA server. I only use for playing music. Problems: crashes hard every time a playlist ends (on ChromeOS 67, the only version I've run this on); no way to edit the playlist.

Completely useless unless you want to play files from the internet or local network (neither of which I have any interest in). Appears to be no way to play files stored on chromebook.
