Siphon Stream Finder
Overview
Lists the HLS and DASH manifest URLs a page requests, so you can inspect or copy them.
Siphon Stream Finder shows you the video and audio manifests the page you are on is requesting: the .m3u8 and .mpd addresses that normally only appear if you open developer tools and dig through the network tab. A background listener watches the tab's own request URLs and notices the ones that look like a streaming manifest. The popup lists them, grouped by tab, with the address in full and a badge count on the toolbar icon so you know something was found without opening it. Each row has two buttons. Copy puts the address on your clipboard. Send to Siphon puts it on the clipboard and opens the Siphon desktop app with it already filled in, through a siphon:// link handled locally by your operating system. The desktop app is optional: "Copy" and "Copy all" need nothing else installed. WHAT IT IS FOR - Checking that your own player or CDN emits the manifest you expect - Grabbing a variant playlist to inspect its renditions - Testing streams on platforms you run yourself - Saving a trip through the network tab HOW IT BEHAVES - Observe-only: it cannot block, redirect or alter any request - Reads request addresses only; never page content, never response bodies - No per-site logic; it is not aimed at any particular service - Clears a tab's list when that tab navigates or closes
