Overview
Capture video frames in one click and stitch captions into a long image, for online videos and local screenshots.
ClipStitch lets you capture key moments from online videos with one click and automatically combine multiple caption screenshots into one long image. It can also stitch your local images together. 【Single-frame screenshots】 Download a PNG / JPG screenshot with one click, or copy it to the clipboard. Keyboard shortcuts are supported. 【Caption collages】 After starting capture, pausing playback automatically takes a screenshot. Ending capture automatically stitches the screenshots together. Page captions and captions burned into the video work the same way: each pause takes one screenshot. 【Stitch local images】 Choose, drag in, or paste several local images. They are sorted by file name or modified time and stitched into one long image. You can also add them to the end of a captured long image. 【Editing and export】 Adjust caption-strip heights one at a time or in batches, and crop black bars from both sides at once. Drag to reorder, undo deletions, and continue capturing at the end of a long image. Download the long image, or download the full original images as a ZIP. 【Limitations】 Complex embedded players and certain page types may not work reliably. Page screenshots require the video tab to remain in the foreground. Switching tabs ends capture and keeps existing results. In fullscreen mode, the buttons appear and disappear with the player controls. They may briefly disappear while a page screenshot is being taken. Images the browser cannot open, images larger than 32 MiB, and images wider or taller than 8192 pixels are skipped. Each session keeps up to 120 original images, including the first frame, or 150 MiB of original image data. Existing results are retained if a limit is exceeded. Capturing again replaces the current editable material, so download any images you want to keep first; to add screenshots after the existing ones, use continue capturing. Deleted screenshots can be restored within 5 seconds, and copying replaces the contents of the system clipboard. The extension does not send captured material or local images to the developer or third parties. It has no analytics, advertising trackers, or remote executable code. Capture, stitching, and editing happen locally, and your material is stored locally in your browser. For details about data handling and how permissions are used, see the store privacy disclosures.
