Simple History

Who did you write this for?

I was looking for a history program and yours was the first I looked at. I didn't (or haven't yet) get it because, while I THINK it would do what I want, your presentation/documentation is very confusing. I know UNIX and write some programs, so I recognize the information, which is developer, not user, level. If you are trying to reach regular users you need some help, starting with a way to get past that nginx welcome screen.
I'm not looking for a job, but if you want to reach a larger market contact me or someone with a similar background. I'm a retired tech writer - major silicon valley companies - and this sort of hurts because I don't think it does what you intended.
