A live table-of-contents and navigation sidebar for ChatGPT and Gemini conversations

Prompt Outline Navigatorは、対応するChatGPTとGeminiの会話に、リアルタイムで更新される目次とナビゲーション用サイドバーを追加する拡張機能です。 主な機能： ・Geminiのプロンプトと回答見出しから目次を生成し、逐次更新・再描画・会話切り替えに追従 ・Geminiの通常会話の回答・送信済み質問・新規/既存入力欄・回答操作行を拡幅し、余白と操作領域を維持。Canvasとノートブックの内容は目次生成・拡幅の対象外 ・ChatGPTの通常の会話とGPT／プロジェクト内の会話で、ユーザーのプロンプトと回答内の見出しから目次を生成 ・会話内の文章作成用エディタを元のプロンプト配下に表示し、件名・文書タイトルや本文内の節へ移動 ・文章作成の読み取り用Markdown表示にも対応し、部分修正で元文書が折りたたまれても見出しを保持。項目の選択時に文書を展開して移動 ・遅延描画、回答の再生成、同じ会話の再描画に追従し、回答の重複や過去項目の順序崩れを抑制 ・正式な見出しがないエディタでは、短い番号付きの太字段落を補助的な節タイトルとして使用 ・対応する本文構造があるSpaceのアクティブな文書とdotのメッセージフィードにも対応 ・現在表示しているプロンプトと見出しを追跡し、プロンプトグループと見出し階層を折りたたみ ・表示済みの移動先へ滑らかにスクロール。ChatGPTでは発見済みの仮想化された過去の会話の移動先を可能な範囲で復旧 ・ページ遷移やダイアログ表示でも目次と予約幅を維持し、添付だけの入力にも対応 ・ピンボタンで常時表示とホバーモードを切り替え。ホバーモードでは画面右端にマウスを合わせて目次を一時表示し、本文幅を変えずに項目を選択 ・左境界のドラッグで横幅を変更・保存し、境界のダブルクリックで初期幅200pxへリセット ・タイトルのドラッグで一時的に下へ移動し、タイトルのダブルクリックで横幅や表示モードを変えずに上下位置だけ最上部へリセット ・ライトモードとダークモードに対応 ・ChatGPTでは文章作成用エディタの有無にかかわらず会話本文と入力欄の幅を補正。新規会話やプロジェクト開始画面の初回入力欄にも対応 目次はページ内に描画された本文から作成します。ChatGPTでは過去ターンが仮想化されても発見済み項目を保持します。Geminiは現在描画中のターンだけに追従し、DOMから外れたターンの保持・復旧は未対応です。Canvasやノートブックの内容は目次化せず配置の共存を維持し、モバイルのCanvas全画面中は目次を一時的に隠して閉じた後に保存モードへ戻します。機能や画面構造はアカウントにより異なり、更新される場合があります。すべてのページで目次が生成されるわけではありません。 会話、文書、メッセージフィードの内容はブラウザー内だけで処理され、拡張機能から開発者や外部サーバーへ送信されません。端末内に保存するのは、サイドバーの表示モード（常時表示／ホバーモード）と横幅だけです。一時的な上下位置やホバー中の表示状態は保存しません。 Prompt Outline Navigatorは独立したプロジェクトであり、OpenAIやGoogleとの提携や、両社による承認を受けたものではありません。ChatGPTとGeminiの利用環境や機能は各サービスの提供元が提供し、この拡張機能がアカウントやサブスクリプションを提供することはありません。 English Prompt Outline Navigator adds a live outline and navigation sidebar to supported ChatGPT and Gemini conversations. Features: • Outline Gemini prompts and response headings, following streaming updates, remounts and conversation changes. • Widen regular Gemini responses, sent prompts, new/existing inputs and response actions while keeping readable gutters and controls inside the pane. Canvas and notebook contents are not indexed or widened. • Generate an outline from user prompts and response headings in normal ChatGPT and GPT/project conversations. • Keep embedded writing editors under their original prompt, with entries for subjects, document titles and sections. • Support read-only Markdown writing blocks and retain headings when a partial revision collapses the original document; selecting an entry expands the document before navigation. • Follow delayed rendering, regenerated answers and conversation remounts while preventing duplicate responses and preserving history order. • When an editor has no real headings, use short numbered paragraphs whose entire text is bold as fallback section entries. • Also navigate active Space documents and dot message feeds when their supported content structure is present. • Track your current prompt and heading, and collapse prompt groups and heading levels. • Scroll smoothly to rendered destinations; in ChatGPT, restore discovered older virtualized destinations when possible. • Keep the sidebar and its reserved space stable across page transitions and dialogs; support attachment-only prompts. • Switch between pinned and hover modes with the pin button. In hover mode, point at the right edge to preview and select outline entries without resizing the page. • Drag the left boundary to resize the sidebar and save the width. Double-click the boundary to reset to the default 200px width. • Drag the title bar to move the sidebar down temporarily. Double-click the title to return to the top without changing the width or display mode. • Support light and dark themes. • Keep ChatGPT conversation and composer width adjustments active with or without a writing editor, including initial messages on new-chat and project home screens. The outline uses content rendered in the page. ChatGPT retains entries already discovered when older turns are virtualized. Gemini follows currently rendered turns only: entries for turns removed from the DOM are not retained or recovered. Canvas and notebook coexistence is supported without indexing their contents; mobile fullscreen Canvas temporarily hides the TOC and restores its saved mode when closed. Features and page structures vary by account and may change over time. Not every page produces an outline. Conversation, document, and message-feed content is processed locally in your browser. The extension does not send it to the developer or any external server. Only the sidebar display mode (pinned or hover) and width are saved locally. Temporary vertical position and hover visibility are not saved. Prompt Outline Navigator is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Google.
