Demo Maker Pro

Record browser workflows as interactive HTML demos with the Demo Maker Pro desktop app.

Requires the Demo Maker Pro desktop application for Windows, and a Demo Maker Pro trial or active license. This extension captures browser workflows you intentionally record and sends the captured steps locally to the Demo Maker Pro desktop application, where they can be turned into guided interactive HTML demos for training or education. How it works: Open Demo Maker Pro on your computer, start a new recording, then click Start Recording in the extension. Click through the browser-based application you want to demonstrate. Each recorded step appears in the Demo Maker Pro desktop editor, where you can edit and export the finished demo. The recorder accesses webpage content only as needed to create a recording that you start. Recording stops when you choose Stop Recording. What is captured, and where it goes: When recording is on, the extension captures the content of the page you are recording — its HTML, styles, images and fonts — along with the element you clicked and a thumbnail of the visible tab. Captured steps are stored locally in the extension and sent to the Demo Maker Pro desktop application running on the same computer, over a loopback connection that does not leave your machine. The extension sends nothing to Demo Maker Pro's servers. Publishing a finished demo to the web is a separate action you take later from the desktop application, if you choose to.
