DockIt keeps a document open in Chrome's side panel, right next to whatever page you're browsing, so you never have to alt-tab between your browser and a separate PDF or Office viewer again. If you've ever filled out a web form while switching back and forth to a PDF, compared a spreadsheet against a web app, or read a contract while replying to an email, DockIt is built for exactly that. Open a document once, and it stays docked beside your browser while you keep working. WHAT IT DOES • Docks a document beside your browser: PDF, Word, Excel, images, or text files, always one glance away, with no window-switching. • Open however you work: drag and drop a file, use the Open Document button, or pick it from Recent Documents. • Capture straight from the web: right-click any link, image, or page and choose "Open in DockIt" to dock it instantly. • Search, zoom, and navigate inside the document: in-document search, zoom controls, sheet tabs for spreadsheets, and page navigation for PDFs. • Picks up where you left off: last page, zoom level, and scroll position are remembered per document. • Works with password-protected PDFs: DockIt prompts for the password locally; it's never sent anywhere. PRIVATE BY DESIGN, NOT BY POLICY DockIt reads and renders every document entirely on your device.
