Behavioral constraint system for intentional browsing

boomrng helps you browse with intention by adding friction between impulse and distraction. Instead of treating every distracting site the same, boomrng lets you choose how difficult each site should be to access. Four constraint behaviors • Checkpoint — pause before entering a site and make a conscious decision to continue. • Delay — wait for a countdown before the site becomes available. • PIN Required — require your local PIN before continuing. • Hard Block — block access completely, with no bypass. Constraints can also be scheduled, so they only apply during the times you choose. Tab Budget Set a maximum number of eligible tabs you want open at once. When you exceed your budget, boomrng asks you to close tabs before continuing. Your Tab Budget applies across normal Chrome windows. Private constraints Mark a constraint as private to mask its domain inside boomrng's interface. Private constraints can be revealed with your PIN. Private mode is UI masking, not encrypted or hidden browsing history. Local by design boomrng requires no account and has no analytics or telemetry. Your constraints, settings, and optional PIN are stored locally in Chrome. The PIN is stored locally in plaintext and is not intended as high-security encryption. boomrng does not make its own network requests or send your browsing data to boomrng servers. Note: Incognito mode is not supported in V2.0. Build a browsing environment that makes distraction a deliberate choice rather than the default.
