Export tweets, articles and visible X thread posts locally as Markdown, plain text or JSON.

X-Tractor exports content already displayed on X. Open a tweet, a full article or a post in a thread, then extract it from the extension popup. Tweet mode is selected when you open the popup. Article and Thread modes are also available. Review the export before copying or downloading it. Copy Markdown or plain text, or download .md, .txt and .json files. Choose whether to include author/date metadata, statistics and media references. Select individual visible posts from a thread. Use a local copy template to summarize or analyze the source in a tool of your choice. X-Tractor does not send content to an AI. Switch between English and French. Post content stays in its original language. Processing happens locally, when you request it. The extension does not send your extracted content to its developer or another service. It has no cloud account, analytics or background collection. Preferences and custom instructions last only while the popup is open. Thread extraction uses consecutive visible posts by the same author. Reply relationships and completeness cannot be guaranteed. Check the selected posts and the warnings before sharing an export. Source identity and extraction limits remain in exports even when optional metadata is excluded. Images are referenced by URL. Videos are represented by the post URL, without downloading or transcription. X-Tractor does not scroll the page or use X APIs. Independent extension. Not affiliated with X.
