Nineyard PO Helper

Downloads a Nineyard PO and opens a pre-filled Gmail draft to the vendor with always-CC and per-vendor extras.

Nineyard PO Helper streamlines the daily purchase-order email workflow for Nineyard users. On any PO detail page, a "PO → Email" button appears in the toolbar next to Edit. One click: • Triggers Nineyard's built-in Print (.pdf) so the PO downloads as a PDF. • Opens a Gmail compose tab pre-filled with the vendor's email, your always-CC list, any per-vendor extra CCs, a subject like "PO 6863", and a body greeting the vendor by first name. Drag the downloaded PDF into the draft and send. FEATURES • Learns vendors as you go. The first time the extension sees a vendor on a PO page, a small dialog asks for their email, first name, and (optional) extra CC. From then on, the click goes straight through. • Always-CC list. Configure addresses that get added to every PO email — e.g. your accounting team, your boss. • Editable email template. Customize subject and body with {po} and {firstName} placeholders. Live preview included. • Per-vendor CC. Layer additional CC addresses on top of the global always-CC list for specific vendors. • Edit anything later. Shift+Click the toolbar button to re-prompt for a vendor, or open the settings page for a full editable list (with delete and JSON export/import for backups). • SPA-aware. The button appears and disappears as you navigate within Nineyard — no stale UI. PRIVACY All data — saved vendors, always-CC list, email template — is stored locally in chrome.storage.local on your machine. Nothing is sent to any server. No analytics, no telemetry, no remote API calls. The extension only runs on https://app.nineyard.com. USAGE NOTES Gmail's compose URL does not allow third-party extensions to pre-attach files — this is a Google restriction, not a missing feature. The PDF downloads separately and you drag it into the draft (two seconds, then Send).
