Overview
Understand and act on what you're looking at, grounded in your company's data.
Nimbus answers questions about whatever you are looking at — a page, an email, the files attached to it — grounded in your organisation's own data, and prepares the work that follows. It opens in Chrome's side panel, beside the tab you are reading. Ask it something and the answer appears there, with a chip underneath naming exactly what was read to produce it: this page, this email, these two attachments. Nothing is read until you ask. Nimbus is built for staff at organisations running ConstraAP. You sign in once with your work account, and that same sign-in is how Nimbus reaches your company's data. There is no second key to manage and nothing to configure. IT PREPARES. YOU SEND. This is the rule the whole extension is built around. Nimbus writes the reply, fills the form, sorts the inbox, reads the attachment and builds the file. It stops short of Send, Submit, Pay, Publish, Sign out and Delete. Those stay yours. The rule holds in agent mode too. Give Nimbus a goal, approve the plan it comes back with, and follow each step as it works. When the next step is one it must not take, it says so and hands the page back rather than guessing. ASK ABOUT THE PAGE YOU ARE ON - Ask about the tab in front of you, or pick a different open tab to ask about instead. - Ask for a screenshot and Nimbus looks at the picture as well as the words, which is what you want when the layout is the question. - Select text on any page, right-click, and choose Rewrite with Nimbus. Shorter, warmer, plainer, or in another language. - Block a site in one press. "Never read this site" is remembered, and the chip shows the block rather than pretending the site was read. MAIL, IN GMAIL AND OUTLOOK - Open a message and ask what it wants, what it commits you to, or what to say back. - Nimbus reads the whole conversation, quoted history included, not just the newest message. - Every answer beside a mailbox offers Insert into reply. Press it and the text lands in your compose box, unsent, for you to read before it goes. Asking for it in words works too. - Sweep an inbox and get a Work Inbox of prepared replies, each one a card to approve, edit or discard. - Save the open email as an .eml file, as a PDF of the whole thread, or save its attachments, into a folder you choose. FILES AND ATTACHMENTS - Attach files to a question, or point Nimbus at the ones already on the email. - Each file is read in memory for the turn you asked about and answered from. Nothing is written to disk unless you press Save. - Up to 10 MB per file. THE PANEL ITSELF - Conversations kept as tabs, and a full-width workspace to move into when the panel gets cramped. Both surfaces follow the same conversation. - Appearance: System, Light or Dark. - Text size with Ctrl and plus or minus. - Ask in the language you think in. Nimbus answers in the language you wrote the question in, and mixed languages are laid out correctly within a single answer. The interface itself is English. - A meter for what the conversation has used and how much room is left in it. WHAT NIMBUS CAN SEE, AND WHEN Nothing runs on a page until you ask a question about it. There is no script sitting on your browsing. When Nimbus does read something, the chip under the answer names it, and opening the chip shows what was sent. Page text and email content go to your organisation's ConstraAP gateway for the turn you asked for. Your conversations, prepared cards and usage figures are stored locally in Chrome, scoped to the account you signed in as. No advertising. No analytics. No sale or transfer to third parties. No remote code: everything Nimbus runs ships inside the package, and the package is built unminified so that it can be read. YOU WILL NEED AN ACCOUNT Nimbus is not a general-purpose assistant and cannot be used without a ConstraAP account. Sign in with your work email and password, or with Continue with Google. If your organisation does not use ConstraAP, there is nothing here to sign in to. REQUIREMENTS Chrome 116 or newer. Every release is tested against current stable and beta Chrome on Windows, macOS and Linux before it ships.
