Nightfall — Dark mode for the web

Automatic dark mode that follows your system, with per-site controls, brightness and contrast adjustments.

A softer web after dark. Nightfall follows your system appearance, darkens light websites, and restores their original appearance in light mode. It automatically skips pages detected as already dark. Choose automatic, force-dark, or off for each website; force-dark still follows your system dark appearance. Adjust brightness and contrast to your preference. Settings stay on your device, with no Nightfall account or analytics. Nightfall aims to preserve photos, layout, and meaningful colors. Some websites, embedded content, and image-based text may need site-specific adjustments. Protected browser pages cannot be themed. Includes the open-source Dark Reader engine under the MIT license.
