Together with "video Control" , will meet anyone's needs. The only feature i see needs fixing across all video controllers is the speed control. It becomes herky jerky even loosing frames as if competing with the embedded players native speed.

Yes, it is safe to use. The source code is fully available publicly (https://github.com/PyvesB/night-video-tuner), so you can't beat it in terms of transparency. :)
