Unattended Display: Auto Refresh & Dimming

Turns a tab into an unattended display: keeps the page refreshed and controls how much light the screen emits.

Unattended Display turns a browser tab into a screen you can leave running: a dashboard on a wall monitor, a live scoreboard, a status board, a camera feed, or any page you want to keep on screen for hours. TWO CONTROLS • Auto refresh — reloads the tab on a timer you choose, from 30 seconds up to 24 hours, so the page never goes stale. The timer runs in the extension's service worker rather than in the page, so it keeps working when the tab sits in the background and the browser suspends it. • Screen light — a dark overlay with an adjustable level, plus an optional warm filter that shifts the screen towards amber (about 4900 K down to 1900 K, following the blackbody curve). A screen left on through the night floods a dark room with light; this cuts how much it emits without touching the monitor's own settings. Each control has its own switch, so you can use one, both or neither. Auto refresh applies to the tab you turn it on for, not to every tab, so nothing you are working on elsewhere gets reloaded. PROTECTED VIDEO Sites that stream DRM-protected video render it on a separate hardware layer, which a blend-mode overlay turns black. The extension detects protected playback and switches to a compatible filter automatically, so the picture stays visible. PRIVACY No data collection, no analytics, no network requests. Your settings are stored locally on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the extension.
