)Overview
Switch on Dark Mode for Chrome Browser. Protect your eyes when you are using the computer.
Take care of your eyes around the clock by utilizing dark mode or adjusting screen brightness to a protective eye-friendly color. 🌙 The Night Shift extension not only activates night mode on nearly all websites but also grants you control over the built-in dark themes on those that support it. For websites lacking a built-in night theme, such as Gmail, Google Docs, Office Online, Github, and countless others, our extension seamlessly converts colors for a smooth transition to dark mode. Enjoy the flexibility of the white-list feature, allowing you to exclude specific domains from the mode. Simply add desired domains (comma-separated) in the options page to exclude them from the dark mode. 📥 Download the dark mode extension for your web browser now! 🌙 Night Shift Engage Night Shift mode to transform the typical screen light into a warmer tone, safeguarding your eyes. Easily toggle the tool on and off with a single click as needed. 🌈 The Night Shift and Dark Mode extension automatically adjusts browser content colors to the warmer end of the spectrum after dark. ⚡ Ensure you refresh all tabs opened before installing Dark Mode and Night Shift. Restart Chrome for a quick refresh of all tabs at once. Otherwise, Night Shift will only apply to newly opened tabs. 🎨 This extension introduces a stylish dark theme to Google Docs, making it easier on the eyes and giving it a cooler appearance. I've only used this for a little while. So far, it works reasonably well on Vivaldi (Windows 11), and appears to be faster in operation than the 'Dark Reader' extension. When using the 'dark mode' switch, I found that text on webpages became unreadable (on webpages, I prefer a small text size). The 'reading' switch works well, and gives webpages a yellowish tint.
