Replace your new tab with a peaceful animated scene: grass, stars at night, and gentle creatures that respond when you move the pointer. What you get • Dark mode: glowing fireflies in the field. Light mode: butterflies. • Optional search box and a shortcuts menu in the corner. • Optional strip of your most-visited sites from your search, with site icons. • Toggles let you show or hide the search area and the most-visited strip; choices are saved on your device only. Permissions Used only with chrome.search.query() for the optional new-tab search box, so queries use the user’s default search provider in Chrome. No queries are sent to us; we have no backend.
