NiFi Companion
Overview
Sidekick for NiFi boxes and API calls.
NiFi Companion is a Chromium extension for Apache NiFi operators, developers, and administrators who want faster access to common NiFi tasks without leaving the browser. It reuses the authenticated browser session from the active NiFi tab so you can work with the NiFi API and UI from a side panel instead of rebuilding requests from scratch. Why NiFi Companion - Reuse the session that is already authenticated in your browser - Build and save repeatable NiFi API requests - Detect the active NiFi instance automatically from the current tab - Search components and open matching results directly in NiFi - Review controller service usage across process groups - Apply processor color patterns consistently - Bookmark process groups for fast in-tab navigation Main Features API Requests | Build, send, save, import, and export NiFi API requests from the side panel Advanced Search | Query `/flow/search-results`, filter matches locally, deduplicate results, and open components directly in NiFi | Processor Colors | Load a color mapping and apply processor background colors to a target process group | Controller Services | Scan controller services, review usage counts, copy configurations, and remove unused services when appropriate | Fast Travel | Save process group bookmarks and navigate to them quickly in the current NiFi tab | Settings | Manage forbidden origins and provide a custom processor color pattern |
