Overview
This extension sends anonymous data to Nielsen about the user's activities. It can only be used by Nielsen panelists.
The Nielsen Computer Panel is your opportunity to be a part of the research we do here at Nielsen. Your participation helps us understand how consumers use the Internet and computers by studying the types of websites people like you visit. By adding our extension to your computer, you are contributing to the measurement of the digital landscape and are eligible to earn rewards. Before enabling our Nielsen extension, you must first sign up using our Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel registration form. Once your registration is submitted, you can enable this extension on your computer. If you have not completed our registration form, this extension will not function and you will not receive rewards. With your help, Nielsen and our clients will better understand trends such as website visits and how much time is spent viewing content. In addition, the extension collects certain browser usage information including navigation and webpage/video data which is securely sent back to Nielsen for research purposes. We do NOT collect user IDs, passwords, banking or financial information. Your activity will be anonymized and aggregated along with thousands of other participating panelists before any reports are shared. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

I liked them just fine and had no problems on the mobile, chromebook, or laptop. Then the last month with no changes (unless it was an update that didn't like the app) It quit working on my phone and on my chrome book. On the laptop it wants to use the edge browser, but is only set up on chrome, I dislike edge intensely.

I've been using this extension for years, since October 2nd, it stopped working and everything I do to correct the problem along with Nielsen support, does not work.

bogus claim of not active . I like rewards and cant figure out how with no changes on my end how the Chromebook wont credit. I've tried every trick in the book delete refresh reinstall. once they get your info they don't need to keep paying duh
