Nicest Code removes approved presentation metadata and whitespace clutter from copied HTML without reserialising the entire document. Paste a fragment, open a supported file, or drag source into the dashboard. Nicest Code keeps the untouched Original beside the Modified result, reports each targeted change with its original source line number, and lets you inspect everything before copying or saving. Core features: - Local source processing - Separate Original and Modified panels - General HTML Cleanup and Copied ChatGPT HTML presets - Targeted attribute and complete class-token removal - Protected PHP blocks and script/style contents - Approved empty-element and whitespace cleanup - Detailed change reports with source line numbers - Undo, reset, copy and non-destructive Save As controls - Local settings storage Standard adds evidence-based Gemini, Claude and Perplexity presets, semantic and directionality controls, custom quick-removal fields, and the optional Make the Nicest Code mode. Ultimate adds local batch processing for up to 100 supported files or 50 MB, provider-evidence detection, combined reports, cleaned ZIP downloads, and custom rule packs. Nicest Code processes source, clipboard content and opened files locally. These are not sent to Jays n Dees for cleaning. Paid-edition licence requests send only the licence credentials, a random installation identifier, the extension version and the requested licensing action. Nicest Code deliberately does not format PHP, JavaScript or CSS, and does not speculatively remove arbitrary code. Lite is usable without a licence key. Standard and Ultimate are optional lifetime licence upgrades sold by Jays n Dees.
