Free Asterisk WebRTC calling with click-to-call, CRM pairing and optional SMS gateway support.

Republic Dial brings your Asterisk or SIP phone into Chrome, with click-to-call tools that keep everyday calling close to the pages you work in. Call from the browser Use the dial pad, select a number on a webpage, or enable optional phone-number buttons on websites. Open the dialer with a keyboard shortcut and manage calls with mute, hold, DTMF and transfer controls. Keep the phone app open and connected for incoming calls. Keep your follow-up organized Manage local contacts, import and export CSV files, review call history, add notes and outcomes, and work through a sequential calling queue. Save recordings locally when you choose to record. Optional CRM connections support contact lookup and call logging; available features depend on the provider and your account permissions. Make the workspace your own Customize quick actions and PBX codes, choose incoming-call alerts, and use Connection Doctor to check your network, phone connection, microphone and speakers. An administrator-enabled team directory shows recently active extensions on a supported PBX. Before you install There is no Republic Dial account to create. Configure your own phone server using an authorized Asterisk/SIP account. Gateway pairing is limited to administrator-approved PBX servers; other setups need a WebRTC-compatible PBX and a trusted WSS endpoint. Republic Dial is free, with no separate Republic Dial subscription. Your PBX, phone numbers, calling and CRM services may have their own charges. This is an early release, and compatibility depends on your phone system. Messaging availability depends on your infrastructure. SIP MESSAGE requires PBX support. The shared Republic gateway does not currently provide carrier SMS. Privacy and permissions Website phone-number detection is optional and requires your approval. Detected pages are not uploaded. Calling, gateway pairing and optional CRM features send the information needed to the services you use, including phone credentials and live audio when you use the gateway.
