Refresh Watcher: Auto Refresh and Page Change Alerts

Get an alert when a page changes or text appears. Auto refresh any number of tabs, each with its own interval.

Refresh Watcher tells you when something on a web page changes. Open it on the page you care about, type the text to watch for, such as “In stock”, “Book now” or “Tickets available”, and choose how often to refresh. After each refresh it checks the page and sends a notification when the text appears, or when text like “Sold out” goes away. The alert arrives even when the tab is in the background or the window is minimized, so you can get on with other work. People use it for restocks, ticket releases, appointment slots, new job or gig posts, auction bids and dashboards that only update when you reload them. If you only want a page to reload, leave the watch box empty and Refresh Watcher becomes a plain auto refresh tool. The free version refreshes any number of tabs at once, each with its own interval, from one second up to a day. A countdown on the toolbar button shows when each tab will refresh next. Right-click any page or the toolbar button to pause, resume or stop that tab, or to start it on a common interval. Press Alt+Shift+P to pause or resume every tab at once. Your scroll position stays where it was after each refresh. The free version runs one text alert at a time, so you can see it work on the page that matters most. Pro is a one-time purchase of $29.95. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. Pro runs any number of alerts at once and can watch an area of a page: pick it with the mouse and get an alert when any of its text changes, such as a build status, a bid or a price. Pro can also click a button before each refresh, refresh only during set hours and days, vary the timing between two intervals, stop after a set number of refreshes or when the alert fires, play a sound that repeats until you dismiss the alert, and remember your settings for a site so they start when you open it. Refresh Watcher asks for very little. It needs no access to your sites to refresh them. When you turn on an alert, a click or a preset for a site, Chrome asks once for permission to read that one site, and you can take it back at any time in Chrome’s extension settings. Settings, presets and your license stay on your device. There is no account, no analytics and no server that sees the pages you watch. It uses standard Chromium extension features, so it runs in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera. Timers last until you close the browser. Alerts check the page shortly after it finishes loading, so content that takes many seconds to appear can be missed on a given refresh and picked up on the next one.
