Focus AI: Website Blocker You Can't Turn Off (AI, for Studying, ADHD)

)Overview
Type what you're studying. Every other page gets turned away, and quitting early means typing "I am choosing to give up."
You've installed blockers before. You've also uninstalled every one of them, usually at 11 pm, usually "just for five minutes." Focus AI is built for exactly that moment. Type what you're working on, in plain English. Every page you open gets judged against it: the lecture stays, the rabbit hole gets turned away at the door. No URL lists to maintain. And quitting early isn't a click, it's typing "I am choosing to give up." The friction is the point. HOW IT WORKS 1. Say what you're working on "Finish chapter 3 of my thesis." "Physics past papers, refraction." "Q3 ads report." Your words, no templates. The more specific, the sharper the judgment. 2. Pick a length 25, 45 or 60 minutes, or set your own, up to 12 hours for the long days. 3. The AI does the sorting Every page you open is judged against your task. A YouTube lecture on your topic stays open. A YouTube rabbit hole gets blocked. Same site, different verdict, decided by what you said you're doing. 4. When the timer ends, you decide Instead of silently unlocking, Focus AI asks if you want to keep going. Fifteen more minutes, thirty, or mission complete. THE PART OTHER BLOCKERS SKIP Strict mode is on from your very first session. To stop early you have to type "I am choosing to give up." The exit is still there; it just costs a sentence, and that sentence is enough to send most impulses back to work. Need it harder? The Nuclear options in Settings remove the stop button entirely. Once the timer starts there is nothing to click until it reaches zero. These exist because paying users asked for them. Slipped anyway, or the AI got a page wrong? Quick Check gives you a three-minute window on that site, once per session, then locks it back down. WHY IT IS DIFFERENT Most website blockers are static URL lists. You add "youtube.com" once, then spend the next year fighting your future self every time you actually need it for a lecture. Focus AI judges pages, not domains, against the task you typed. No URL lists. No deciding site by site. No willpower spent on whether this tab is allowed. You type one sentence about what you're doing and the sorting is done for you, page by page. FEATURES - AI blocking judged against your task, not a fixed list - Strict mode on by default: quitting early means typing the sentence - Nuclear options: remove the stop button entirely - Custom session lengths, 5 minutes to 12 hours - "Keep going?" prompt when the timer ends, with one-click extensions - Quick Check: a 3-minute escape hatch, once per session, for wrong blocks - On-page pill that shows your task and countdown on every site - Session receipts: minutes focused, escape attempts blocked, daily streak - Local dashboard with daily, weekly and monthly focus hours WHO IT IS FOR Students in demanding programs whose studying happens on the same sites that eat their nights: pre-med and STEM students learning from YouTube and Google, thesis writers, anyone with an exam date and a history of talking themselves out of their own blocker. Also the knowledge worker whose job lives in the open web and who knows exactly which tabs steal the afternoon. If you want a simple list of sites blocked forever, a classic blocker will serve you better. Focus AI is for the person who needs judgment and a sealed exit. PRICING Your first 3 sessions are free, no account required. After that it is $9.99 a month, for people who've decided the exam is worth it. PRIVACY During an active session, Focus AI reads the content of pages you open, only to decide whether each page matches your stated task. That decision is made and discarded; page content is not stored. Focus AI does not log your browsing history and does not sell data. If you choose to give your email during setup, it is used to check in with you and to unlock access; you can skip it.
