not working on chrome OS

I'd really love to use this but I can't get it to work, I even set a chrome shortcut for the extension. but alas not functioning. for example:eeeeeeeeeeeeeee. If I hold down a key it just runs text.

How does this work?

I have gone into Chrome settings. The options you show on your welcome popup aren't there. I don't see any other setting options.
