Overview

Keeps you on-task during focus sessions by blocking distracting sites. Works with NexusPlan.

NexusPlan Focus keeps students on task during homework focus sessions. Start a focus session from the NexusPlan homework planner and the extension temporarily blocks distracting websites, while keeping school essentials available — Google Docs, Google Classroom, Khan Academy, Quizlet, Wikipedia, and other study tools stay accessible, and each session can whitelist the sites a specific assignment needs. How it works: • Start a session in NexusPlan — already-open distracting tabs are parked on a friendly block page • Navigate anywhere during the session — non-study sites redirect to the block page • End the session — every blocked tab is restored to exactly where it was, automatically Privacy first: everything runs locally in your browser. The extension never collects, stores remotely, or transmits your browsing history. It only checks site hostnames against your allowed list during an active session. Requires a NexusPlan account (nexusplan.app). Built for schools — supports Google Admin force-install for managed Chromebooks.
