Nexus Recorder

Record a manual test case in your browser, with screenshots, and save it to Nexus for Jira.

Nexus Recorder turns what you do in the browser into a manual test case for Nexus, the test management app for Jira. Start a recording from the New test case form in Nexus. Then use your web app as normal: every click, typed value and page change appears as a readable test step in Chrome's side panel, next to the page, never covering it. What you can do • Record steps as you click and type, with page changes captured as "Navigate to" steps • Take a full-page or region screenshot for any step, from the panel, a keyboard shortcut or the right-click menu • Choose whether typed values are saved as test data • Edit, reorder or delete steps before you save • Stop, and the recording goes straight back to Nexus, ready to save as a Jira test case with its screenshots Private by design • Recordings stay on your computer until you hand them to Nexus, and are deleted when Nexus saves or discards them, or after 7 days • The extension makes no network requests: no analytics, no tracking, no third-party code • Site access is asked for only when you start recording, never at install • Data reaches your Jira only through the Nexus page, as you, with your own Jira permissions Requires Nexus for Jira (Atlassian Marketplace) with the Recorder switched on by your Jira administrator.
